Batavians For A Healthy River works with other organizations, agencies, and resources to encourage conservation and stewardship in our watershed. This includes conservation at home, work, and public places.
Monitoring of the Fox River
A number of organizations undertake the essential task of studying and monitoring the Fox River and its tributaries. Data from these studies enable our communities to measure water quality, quantity, and the overall health of our watershed. The following have been active in this endeavor (currently or in the past):

Friends of the Fox River’s Watershed Monitoring
Network Fox River Ecosystem Partnership (FREP)
   Water Resource Committee, in cooperation with NIPC
   (now CMAP)and Illinois Environmental Protection
   Agency (IEPA)
